A tragic incident unfolded in Twin City, Georgia, where a social media influencer, Zaria Khadejah Carr, was found dead in her home. The 27-year-old influencer, known as Duchess Dior to her 35,000 followers on Facebook, posted a distressing message pleading for help just hours before her untimely death.

In her final post, shared around 6 p.m. on Saturday, Zaria expressed her desperation, stating, “I really don’t know what to do, but I need help before I lose my life or freedom! My kids need me!” The post sent shockwaves through her online community, leaving many concerned about her well-being.

When police responded to a domestic disturbance at Zaria’s residence later that evening, they discovered her lifeless body. Her husband, Shamarcus Jameal Carr, was not present at the scene, and Zaria’s 2021 Dodge Challenger was reported missing. The vehicle was later located in Wayne County, about 80 miles south of Twin City.

As authorities attempted to stop the vehicle, Shamarcus shot himself before they could apprehend him. He was rushed to a nearby hospital but succumbed to his injuries. Shamarcus, known as “the Frenchman” online, was a French bulldog breeder with a substantial following on social media.

The couple’s tragic deaths have left many questions unanswered, as the investigations into the circumstances surrounding their passing are still ongoing. It remains unclear how Zaria died, and authorities continue to piece together the events leading up to the tragic incident.

The heartbreaking turn of events serves as a stark reminder of the importance of mental health awareness and seeking help in times of distress. If you or someone you know is struggling with suicidal thoughts, please reach out for support. You can contact the 24/7 National Suicide Prevention hotline at 988 or visit SuicidePreventionLifeline.org for assistance.

As the community mourns the loss of Zaria and Shamarcus, their legacy lives on through the memories they shared with their online followers. May their souls rest in peace, and may their story serve as a reminder of the fragility of life and the importance of reaching out for help in times of need.
