Sarah Trott, known for her appearance on season 25 of The Bachelor, shared the details of her Italian-themed bridal shower with Us Weekly. The 30-year-old former contestant, who left the show early while competing for Matt James’ heart, recently announced her engagement to Grant Fisher, CEO of VAI Resort, in late 2025.
Discussing the event, Trott mentioned to Us, “My aim was for guests to feel like they had been whisked away to the Amalfi Coast for the afternoon.” The bridal shower, crafted with assistance from Maison Glasco, featured elements like hanging bougainvillea, limoncello spritzes, and an Italian market adorned with garlic and chilies to evoke an authentic Italian summer ambiance.
The gathering took place in Phoenix on April 4, emphasizing themes of “community and girlhood.” Trott’s focus was on celebrating this significant milestone with friends and creating lasting memories.
Guests departed the event with carefully selected Italian treats curated by Trott herself. The shower’s catering was managed by Lauren Allen Culinary Events, with styling by Rylee Paige Food Styling. “As a gesture of thanks, attendees could choose their favorite items from our curated Italian market,” Trott explained to Us. “I personally brought back some items from Italy, including handmade lemon-scented soaps from Positano, after scouting for our wedding venue.”
The couple plans a small, intimate wedding in Ravello, Italy, in August. The bridal shower’s dessert also reflected Italian flair, as Trott shared, “I was inspired to create a lemon meringue dessert tower after seeing Italian weddings use a tiramisu tower instead of cake. I love the non-traditional elements and added my twist to this trend.”

Trott emphasized the importance of celebrating with cherished friends and family. The flowers were arranged by Arizona-based With Love, Florals, while Kristina Theijs at The Edit and Cacie Carroll Photography documented the event through photos and videos.
Trott began her career as a broadcast journalist, serving as a reporter and anchor for ABC and NBC affiliates. She has since transitioned into content creation and on-camera hosting, collaborating with notable brands such as Wynn Resorts, Michelin Guide, and Porsche to offer an editorial perspective on global destinations and experiences.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Trott actively uses her platform to advocate for ALS awareness, drawing from her personal experience with the disease. Her father’s battle with ALS prompted her early departure from The Bachelor before his passing in late 2021.
In lieu of a traditional gift registry, Trott and Fisher have encouraged their wedding guests to contribute to Hope Loves Company, an organization dear to the couple. “[Hope Loves Company is] the only nonprofit in the U.S. dedicated to supporting children who have a loved one battling ALS (Lou Gehrig’s Disease),” Trott explained to Us. “This was a special way to honor my dad, Tom Trott, during our celebration.”
