Saturday night saw Hôtel Particulier Montmartre turn into a stunning backdrop for one of the most enchanting evenings of Paris Fashion Week. This whimsical venue, nestled just a stone’s throw away from Baz Luhrmann’s residence, was reimagined as a verdant filming location. With walls draped in ivy, lanterns casting playful shadows, and even a solitary chicken perched among the garden trees, it presented a dreamy, countryside illusion right within the city—a scene truly fit for Elvis.
The gathering was a tribute to Joopiter’s Elvis auction and Baz Luhrmann’s anticipated documentary, EPiC: Elvis Presley in Concert. At the heart of the event was the standout piece from the auction—a stunning black and gold belt by Mouawad, encrusted with dazzling gems. Originally created for Luhrmann as a good-luck charm for the film’s premiere at Cannes, it also makes an appearance in the opening credits of Elvis. Caitlin Donovan, Joopiter’s Global Head of Sale, remarked, “It’s truly a one-of-a-kind piece. It transcends being merely an accessory; it embodies the film’s lore.” Luhrmann added with a smile, “It’s genuinely a work of art.”
Pharrell Williams and Luhrmann played host to a diverse array of friends and colleagues, including prominent figures such as Anna Wintour, Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo from Daft Punk, Jaden Smith, Bella Freud, Annie of AllDay Project, and many others. The fashion echoed the event’s spirit—an exquisite blend of rock ‘n’ roll chic and dramatic opulence. Luhrmann chose a complete Prada ensemble from their Fall 2025 menswear collection: a brown leather suit paired with a crisp white shirt, stylish Texan boots, and distinctive Miu Miu glasses, subtly nodding to Elvis’s famed leather aesthetic. “Miuccia and I have a long history, spanning 35 years,” he shared earlier. “It’s something a bit rock and roll, with a hint of Elvis.” Pharrell, ever the style icon, donned light-wash flared denim by Louis Vuitton and a black croc-embossed leather jacket, accessorized with a monogrammed Speedy P9 Bandoulière 25 casually slung over his shoulder. Meanwhile, Donovan shone brightly in a vintage fringed Escada blazer, exclaiming, “If there’s ever a moment to wear this, it’s for Elvis,” punctuating her words with laughter.
