On the day of the shooting, Robinson, 23, is said to have sent a message to his former roommate instructing, “Drop what you are doing, look under my keyboard.”
Upon checking, the roommate reportedly discovered a disturbing note stating, “I had the opportunity to take out Charlie Kirk and I’m going to take it.”
When questioned about his seriousness, Robinson allegedly confirmed he was “still ok” and “stuck in Orem,” a location in Utah, “for a little while longer yet.”
The message further revealed, “To be honest, I had hoped to keep this secret till I died of old age. I am sorry to involve you.”
Despite initial disbelief, the roommate reportedly asked, “You weren’t the one who did it right????”
Robinson is said to have replied, “I am, I’m sorry.”
