Vladimir Putin’s Obsession with Biohacking and Immortality

Vladimir Putin, the 73-year-old Russian president, has sparked speculation about his interest in radical life-extension ideas, leading many to question whether he is delving into biohacking in a quest to significantly prolong his lifespan. According to reports from RadarOnline.com, Putin has shared his desire to live to at least 150 years old, or even achieve immortality akin to a vampire.

During a recent public appearance alongside China’s president Xi Jinping, Putin was overheard discussing scientific advancements and human longevity. The conversation captured on a hot mic revealed Putin’s musings about a future where organs could be continuously transplanted, potentially allowing people to reverse aging and achieve immortality. This dialogue took place against a backdrop of escalating interest in anti-aging science, with authoritarian leaders and tech magnates alike investing resources into extending lifespan.

The timing of Putin’s comments coincided with a Chinese startup called Lonvi Biosciences announcing progress in developing anti-aging pills derived from grapeseed compounds, claiming that their research could support lifespans of up to 150 years. While the company has not explicitly tied its work to government figures, experts suggest that the attention to longevity from such high-profile individuals underscores the seriousness with which the pursuit of extended lifespan is being taken at the highest levels of power.

The quest for longevity is not limited to political elites and tech entrepreneurs. In the UK, the number of centenarians doubled over a 20-year period, highlighting a broader societal interest in living longer. However, gains in life expectancy in developed nations have slowed due to factors like obesity, sedentary lifestyles, and diet-related diseases. This has led to a renewed focus on evidence-based approaches to healthy aging, with diet, exercise, sleep, purpose, and social connections playing crucial roles in promoting longevity.

Recent studies have shown that a diet rich in plants, fiber, and healthy fats, as seen in regions known as Blue Zones, can contribute to long life. Additionally, consuming omega-3 fatty acids and engaging in regular exercise have been linked to slower biological aging and improved overall health. Adequate sleep has emerged as a critical factor in extending lifespan, with research showing a stronger association between sleep and longevity compared to diet and exercise.

As Putin’s aspirations for immortality continue to make headlines, experts caution that while scientific advancements can enhance quality of life, claims of achieving eternal life remain speculative. One intelligence source revealed Putin’s egotistical belief that his country needs him to live indefinitely, driving him to explore any means to extend his lifespan by several decades. Amidst the fascination with living longer, it is essential to recognize the limitations of current scientific knowledge and the importance of a holistic approach to healthy aging.
