The NASCAR Cup Series drivers are gearing up for an exciting race at the North Wilkesboro Speedway, a historic oval track measuring 0.625 miles. The action is set to take place on Sunday, May 18, as part of the season’s second exhibition event weekend.

During the qualifying session on Friday, Brad Keselowski from RFK Racing claimed the pole position, securing the top spot for the start of the 2025 All-Star Race. Christopher Bell, who emerged victorious in the Heat 2 race, will start alongside Keselowski on the front row.

As for the weather forecast for Sunday’s race day, expect mostly cloudy conditions with a high temperature of 84 degrees. There is only a 1% chance of rain at the start of the All-Star Race, ensuring ideal racing conditions for the drivers.

The schedule for Sunday’s NASCAR Cup Series action at North Wilkesboro Speedway is packed with on-track activities. The garage will open at 7 am ET, with the Whelen Modified Tour taking to the track from 7 am to 5:30 pm ET. The Cup Series teams will also have track activity scheduled from 2 pm to 11:55 pm ET.

Key events on Sunday include Whelen Modified Tour practice sessions, qualifying, and the main race, which covers 150 laps and 93.75 miles. The All-Star Open, consisting of 100 laps and 62.5 miles, will take place at 5:30 pm ET, followed by the highly anticipated All-Star Race at 8 pm ET, covering 250 laps and 156.25 miles.

Fans can catch all the NASCAR Cup Series action at North Wilkesboro Speedway on FS1, with radio coverage available on MRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio.
