The Israeli military conducted fresh strikes against Hezbollah targets in south Lebanon shortly after Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu affirmed at the UN that operations against the Lebanese armed group will persist.
Israel’s military stated, “We are currently targeting terror assets linked to the Hezbollah terrorist organization in southern Lebanon.”
The strikes occurred immediately after Netanyahu’s declaration to persist in targeting Hezbollah in Lebanon.
“We will continue to weaken Hezbollah until all our goals are achieved,” he informed world leaders at the UN.
In a separate announcement, Defense Minister Yoav Gallant also pledged to conquer Israel’s “adversaries near and far.”
