Yippee ki-yay Zohran!
Actor Robert Davi, known for his role in “Die Hard,” lashed out at Mayor Zohran Mamdani in a heated social media video. Davi criticized the socialist Democrat for allegedly erasing New York’s Italian-American heritage after City Hall published a map of immigrant communities that excluded Little Italy.
The map, titled “New York City Immigrant Enclaves,” highlighted neighborhoods like Little Palestine, Little Egypt, and Little Africa, while overlooking historic Little Italy and several Irish and Jewish immigrant communities.
“My grandparents came from Sicily and Naples and they taught me, speak the English. This is America. God bless America,” the 75-year-old Hollywood actor exclaimed in a fiery rant posted Friday on X.
“My grandfather enlisted in World War I and got wounded three times … he helped build New York City as an immigrant, an Italian immigrant.
“I was born in Astoria, Queens, you jerk. I understand the lifeblood of New York City and the immigrant populations and all peoples.
He also offered some advice to 35-year-old Mamdani, who was born in Kampala, Uganda.
“Go back to where you belong, Mamdani, go back to where you belong and run for office there,” thundered the actor, who resides in Apollo Beach, Fla., and portrayed FBI Special Agent Big Johnson in “Die Hard.”
Davi also criticized Mamdani for missing the installation Mass for New York Archbishop Ronald Hicks at St. Patrick’s Cathedral in February 2026.
“And what you did to the Catholic Church by snubbing the Archbishop. You jerk,” Davi raged. “What you did, snub little Italy, and you wanna take down the statues.”
After facing backlash from several groups — including the Italian American Civil Rights League, which accused the administration of erasing Italian Americans — Mamdani stated that his administration now plans to add Little Italy, as reported by Fox News.
Davi’s intense rant quickly gained attention on X, where supporters backed the veteran actor.
“I agree with every word,” wrote one commenter on X. “Get rid of these scumbags.”
Another added: “As an Iranian; kick out Mamdani from office. He is very dangerous for USA and the rest of the world.”
“Amen. Stand for American Values or go stand on the line for the next plane out,” another user wrote. “He is a disgrace and should be removed. America for Americans.”
The mayor’s office did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
