IRS and USPS agents arrest illegal aliens in Colorado Springs nightclub raid

In a striking shift in federal priorities, agents from the U.S. Postal Service Police and the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) are now actively participating in operations aimed at apprehending illegal immigrants within the United States. This development underscores the escalating focus on illegal immigration as a primary concern for federal law enforcement agencies across the board.

Previously reported by , the Trump administration has taken the unprecedented step of deploying IRS agents to assist Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) in its mission to detain undocumented individuals within U.S. borders.

Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem sent a detailed letter to Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, articulating the resource requirements for ICE and soliciting the support of IRS agents. “This correspondence seeks your approval to make qualified officials from the Department of the Treasury available for collaboration with ICE, including granting them the authority to perform immigration duties as permitted under 8 U.S.C. § 1103(a)(6),” Noem stated.

This initiative follows President Trump’s suggestion during a rally at the Circa Resort and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada, where he proposed deploying thousands of IRS agents to the southern border. Additionally, he hinted at a radical overhaul of the tax system, proposing to eliminate the federal income tax and replace it with revenue generated from tariffs.

Earlier reports from revealed that a coordinated raid involving over ten federal and local law enforcement agencies took place at an underground nightclub in Colorado Springs, Colorado, in the early hours of Sunday, resulting in the seizure of drugs and weapons and the arrest of over 100 undocumented immigrants.

Video footage from the operation captured law enforcement breaking through what appeared to be a glass window, as club patrons, including individuals who appeared to be sex workers, hurriedly exited the premises.

In the ensuing footage, agents from the U.S. Postal Service and IRS Criminal Investigations can be seen collaborating with personnel from the DEA, ICE, and FBI.

Highlighting this unprecedented alliance, Fox correspondent Bill Melugin noted on X that the Trump administration is adopting a comprehensive approach, rallying all federal agencies to partake in deportations. This strategy may indeed redefine the landscape of immigration enforcement in the United States.
