Jack Black to Host “Saturday Night Live” with Jack White as Musical Guest
“Saturday Night Live” has announced its latest host and musical guest, and it will be the dynamic duo of Jack Black as host and Jack White as musical guest on April 4.
“SNL” kicked off its 51st season in October 2025, featuring hosts and musical guests like Bad Bunny and Doja Cat, Amy Poehler and Role Model, and Sabrina Carpenter, who pulled double duty as both host and musical guest. Previous seasons have seen stars like Ariana Grande, Dua Lipa, Charli XCX, and Lady Gaga taking on both roles.
This season introduced first-time hosts Finn Wolfhard, Teyana Taylor, Alexander Skarsgård, and most recently, “Heated Rivalry” star Connor Storrie, who hosted on Feb. 28. Musical guests such as A$AP Rocky, Geese, Cardi B, and Mumford & Sons have all graced the stage at Studio 8H this season.
Prior to the season premiere, “SNL” underwent several changes, including a number of casting shakeups. Bowen Yang shockingly departed mid-season in December 2025 after joining the cast in 2018. This news followed earlier announcements of departures from Ego Nwodim, Heidi Gardner, Michael Longfellow, Devon Walker, Emil Wakim, and John Higgins.
Adding fresh talent, the season welcomed five new cast members: Ben Marshall, Veronika Slowikowska, Jeremy Culhane, Kam Patterson, and Tommy Brennan. Marshall, now in his fifth season, was promoted to the featured cast after initially joining the show with his comedy trio, Please Don’t Destroy.
Don’t miss “SNL” airing Saturdays at 11:30 p.m. ET on NBC for more laughs, music, and unforgettable moments.
