Jack White is not backing down from his stance against Donald Trump, as he has taken legal action against the former president for using his famous song “Seven Nation Army” without authorization. The White Stripes singer filed a lawsuit against Trump and his campaign after a social media clip showed the Republican nominee boarding a plane with the song playing in the background.

In the lawsuit obtained by TMZ, Jack White claims that he did not give permission for his song to be used by the Trump campaign. He also states that Trump should have known better, especially since Jack has publicly denounced Trump in the past. This is not the first time Trump has used the song without authorization, as Jack claims it happened back in 2016 as well.

What makes this situation even more offensive to Jack White is his strong opposition to Trump’s policies and actions, along with his ex-wife Meg White. Both Jack and Meg have been vocal about their disapproval of Trump, making any association with him even more distasteful.

Despite reaching out to the Trump campaign to resolve the issue after the video was posted, Jack White claims that they were ignored, leaving him no choice but to take legal action. He argues that Trump, being a self-professed sophisticated businessman with experience in the entertainment industry, should have known better than to use the song without permission.

In the lawsuit, Jack is seeking to stop Trump from using the song and is also seeking damages for the copyright violation. The Trump campaign has not responded to requests for comment on the matter.

Overall, Jack White’s lawsuit against Donald Trump serves as a reminder of the importance of respecting artists’ rights and intellectual property. It highlights the consequences of using copyrighted material without permission, especially when it involves artists who are outspoken about their beliefs and values.
