Jake Paul is gearing up for his highly anticipated fight against Mike Tyson, and he’s not letting any concerns about Tyson’s health get in his way. In a recent interview with TMZ Sports, Paul expressed his confidence that Tyson will be ready to step into the ring come November, with no backup plan in sight.
The fight, which was originally scheduled for July but was postponed due to a medical emergency involving Tyson, is now set to take place in Dallas. Despite the setback, Paul is certain that Tyson is in good health and ready to go.
“I don’t have concern,” Paul stated. “He’s doing great. He’s super healthy behind the scenes and feeling great.”
Despite the significant age difference between the two fighters – Paul is 27 while Tyson is 58 – Paul is not holding back. He is determined to go for the knockout and is fully committed to giving it his all in the ring.
“A pro fight means war and I don’t take it lightly,” Paul emphasized. “You can get seriously hurt or injured in there. So, if you’re not in there to go to war, then you should just get out.”
When it comes to strategy, Paul revealed that he plans to be cautious early in the bout but is counting on Tyson tiring out as the fight progresses. He is prepared to go the distance and is ready to give it his all to come out on top.
The fight is scheduled to take place at AT&T Stadium on Nov. 15, with Netflix set to stream the event live for fans to watch. It’s sure to be an epic showdown between two fierce competitors, and Paul is ready to give it his all in the ring.
