Ja’Marr Chase is known for his agility on the football field, but it seems he’s just as adept at avoiding unwanted attention off the field.
A recent video obtained by TMZ Sports captured an awkward moment between the Cincinnati Bengals star and a woman on the streets of New York City.
While leaving Zero Bond after a weekend event, Chase visibly avoided a woman’s attempt to hug him, causing a tense moment between the two.
The woman, dressed in all black, appeared displeased with Chase’s reaction, but the wide receiver remained composed as he sought a car to quickly depart from the scene.
It’s unclear if Chase and the woman had any prior acquaintance, but the encounter certainly seemed tense and awkward.
Despite the situation, Chase appeared unfazed as he made his exit, reminiscent of other sports stars facing unexpected encounters in public.
