Tastemade Expands Partnership with Fremantle to Bring Jamie Oliver’s Culinary Adventures to U.S. Audiences

Food and lifestyle media company Tastemade has announced an exciting expansion of its partnership with Fremantle, bringing three premium series featuring renowned chef Jamie Oliver to its streaming platforms. This new deal, the second collaboration between the companies in the past year, will introduce U.S. audiences to Oliver’s latest culinary ventures exclusively on Tastemade’s streaming service.

The lineup includes “Jamie Oliver: Seasons,” where the chef explores sustainable cooking throughout the year, “Jamie: Fast and Simple” offering streamlined cooking solutions, and “Jamie Cooks Italy,” a travel-centric series that takes viewers on a culinary journey from Sicily to the Alps. The rollout of these series will begin on April 7 with “Jamie Oliver: Seasons,” followed by “Jamie: Fast and Simple” on April 10, and “Jamie Cooks Italy” on April 28 as part of Tastemade’s Road Trip programming block.

In “Jamie Cooks Italy,” Oliver collaborates with Gennaro Contaldo to uncover traditional recipes from various regions in Italy. “Jamie: Fast and Simple” focuses on quick and easy kitchen solutions, while “Seasons” emphasizes sustainable ingredients and environmentally conscious cooking practices.

This latest content acquisition builds on the success of last year’s licensing agreement, which saw strong viewership of six Oliver-fronted series on Tastemade’s streaming channels throughout 2024. To entice new subscribers, Tastemade is offering a complimentary Jamie Oliver cookbook to new annual Tastemade+ members. The subscription provides ad-free access to a vast library of programming and a recipe database with over 12,000 entries.

While “Jamie Cooks Italy” will be available on both Tastemade’s main channel and Tastemade Travel, all three series will be ad-free for Tastemade+ subscribers through the company’s dedicated app. The content will also be accessible with ads on Tastemade’s free, widely distributed channels.
