New York Giants rookie quarterback Jaxson Dart, originally from Utah, made his mark in college football at USC and Ole Miss before turning pro in this year’s NFL Draft.
Dart’s transition to the NFL was smooth in terms of his playing ability, but the change in location brought about some new challenges. Coming from a state with few toll roads, Dart had to quickly adapt to the toll systems in the northeast, particularly in New Jersey and New York.
A viral video captured Dart’s confusion at a toll booth on the New Jersey Turnpike, showcasing his unfamiliarity with E-ZPass and toll ticket systems.
Despite his initial struggles with tolls, Dart’s lucrative rookie contract of $16.9 million ensures he can easily cover any toll charges he may incur.
As Dart settles into his new surroundings, he is gradually learning to navigate the East Coast toll systems, which will be essential if he chooses to live in the East Rutherford area.
Dart’s preseason debut against the Buffalo Bills was promising, with 12-of-19 completions for 154 yards and a touchdown pass, contributing to the New York Giants’ 34-25 victory.
