Erika, familiar with the art of last-minute cancellations, recently withdrew from a scheduled event at the University of Georgia, which was to feature Vance as well, citing personal security concerns.
Many ticket holders seemed to emulate Erika’s decision, leading to a low turnout for Vance’s solo appearance, which drew ridicule.
Addressing the unexpected change from the stage, TPUSA spokesman Andrew Kolvet explained that Erika had to pull out due to safety reasons.
“For those of you wondering why I’m here instead of Erica Kirk, it’s because she has unfortunately received some very serious threats, which is terrible,” Kolvet stated, according to Mediaite.
“It’s a terrible reflection on the state of reality and the state of the country,” he added.
