Influencer Jen Hamilton has addressed the speculation from fans eager to see her featured in a new season of The Bachelorette.
In a humorous Instagram video posted on Sunday, August 2, Jen, 35, playfully dismissed the idea, saying, “They do not want me and this is why.” The clip was a response to a fan’s suggestion that she join the reality TV dating show.
The social media personality, who publicized her separation from her husband, Brian Hamilton, in June, included several comedic skits in the video that poked fun at the possibility of her joining the show. “Don’t miss the most dramatic season of The Bachelorette ever. Featuring Jen Hamilton who we did not vet but got lots of comments about,” she quipped in a sarcastic voice-over, before humorously acting out potential suitor introductions.
In one segment, she jokingly introduced herself, “Hi, my name is Jen, what do you like to do? Run? That’s what you can do, that way, thank you for coming,” and continued to poke fun saying, “A beach date? Did ya’ll … research me first? I’m built different than my predecessors. There’s no drawers that cover it alls.”
Viewers praised Jen’s witty content in the comments section of her video, including support from former Bachelorette Katie Thurston. Thurston, 35, commented, “Just say the word, and I’ll give you a direct number,” garnering over 400 likes.
One fan remarked, “I mean, I’d watch this season,” while another added, “Divorced Mom edition 😂the only season I want to watch.”
Just days earlier, Jen had posted another comical Facebook video, which also sparked suggestions for her to join The Bachelorette. One viewer commented, “Something tells me when you’re ready to get back on the market, you will have a plethora of eligible suitors. Maybe Jen should be the next Bachelorette?” This comment received nearly 7,000 likes and heart reactions.

Jen recently posted an Instagram video, which appears to coincide with a text exchange she shared with her estranged husband. In the exchange, Jen tells Brian she will “always love” him, to which he apparently responds, “Thank you for being you. Losing you is the dumbest thing I’ve ever done.”
Brian then seemed to continue, “I don’t want to leave you in rubble. I want all of you guys to be in my life.” (Jen and Brian share two sons, Ellis and Luke, though it remains unclear who Brian was referring to in the text.)
Jen’s response was, “You already have.”
Following their joint Instagram announcement confirming their separation, Jen has accused her former partner of maintaining a “double life” with a 56-year-old woman.
