Jenn Fessler Is ‘Sorry’ Over Post Denying West Wilson Hookup

The Real Housewives of New Jersey alum Jennifer Fessler has issued an unexpected apology concerning an Instagram post where she denied having a relationship with Summer House’s West Wilson.

“I’m sorry!!!!!! I admit it,” Jenn, 57, wrote via Instagram on Saturday, May 9, adding, “I used the wrong font.”

Earlier, Jenn had strongly refuted rumors regarding her relationship with West, 31, after his girlfriend Ciara Miller claimed they had been involved in the past.

“In all seriousness, while I appreciate the flattery, it’s not appropriate to post something so categorically false and defamatory on social media,” she stated on her Instagram Stories on Saturday, May 9. “Regardless of any rumors or purported ‘evidence,’ that constitutes libel.”

She added, “If it were true, I would have no recourse. Because it’s a lie, this can get more complicated. Having said that, I hope we can rectify this. It’s enough now.”

Beyond the content, Bravo fans expressed their displeasure with the cursive font Jenn used in her message, making their opinions known.

The former Real Housewives of New Jersey star found herself amid drama concerning West’s recent relationship with Summer House costar Amanda Batula. On March 31, Amanda and West announced they were exploring their “connection,” just a few months after Amanda’s separation from her husband, Kyle Cooke.

Jenn defended West during an interview at Vulture’s The Masterminds of Reality TV event in New York City on Thursday, May 7.

“[West] is the cutest, sweetest golden retriever puppy dog. He does not mean any harm. He didn’t mean it,” Jenn said on the red carpet on Thursday, May 7. “He’s just trying to have a good time. He doesn’t wanna hurt anyone. Give him a break.”

Ciara, 30, responded to a clip of Jenn’s comments with a shocking allegation, writing, “Lol, because they slept together too.”

Jenn initially responded to Ciara’s accusation with a light-hearted statement to Page Six on Friday, May 8, saying, “It’s flattering that anyone would think someone who slept with Ciara Miller would be interested in sleeping with me.”

West also tried to dismiss the drama with an Instagram Story, stating the hookup rumors were “news to me.” A source close to West told Us Weekly that Ciara’s claim was “absolutely not true” and called it a “silly accusation.”

Ciara further emphasized her accusation by sharing a Summer House photo of Amanda on Threads, captioning it cryptically, “If I send this to you I’m about to lie straight to your face.”

Following Ciara’s claims, a recent Instagram post by Jenn celebrating her 27th wedding anniversary has resurfaced, raising questions. (Jenn has been married to her husband, Jeffrey Fessler, since 1999, and they have two children, son Zachary and daughter Rachel.)
