Jennifer Lawrence is drawing inspiration from the spring 2026 fashion shows to elevate her style.
Today, the actress was seen in New York City, bracing the cool weather in a long, cream-colored embroidered house coat paired with a vibrant red scarf. Underneath, she wore a white T-shirt and relaxed black trousers. Instead of her recent go-to bags—such as her zebra-print Fendi backpack, leopard-print Prada tote, and her Loewe bowling bag—Lawrence chose a timeless favorite: a black Hermès Kelly bag.

Rather than keeping her bag in mint condition, Lawrence wore her top-handle bag freely, with the gold hardware unfastened, allowing it to stay wide open. This styling choice undoubtedly reflects trends she observed during Jonathan Anderson’s debut Dior womenswear show just a week ago. And Anderson wasn’t alone; Matthieu Blazy similarly sent Chanel’s classic flaps down the runway unbuttoned.

Lawrence isn’t alone in her casual approach to styling; earlier this month, before her own spring 2026 presentation in Paris, Victoria Beckham also showcased her Kelly bag in a relaxed manner. One can only assume that Jane Birkin—renowned for her overflowing, sticker-laden bag—would fully support the choices made by both Lawrence and Beckham.
