Joe Biden Battling Aggressive Cancer: What We Know
As reported by Radar, former President Joe Biden has been keeping a low profile since his presidency, choosing to spend his time at his Delaware home as he fights a tough battle against cancer. With a reduced staff and minimal security, Biden is focusing on working with a ghostwriter on his memoir.
Earlier this year, Biden received a devastating diagnosis of cancer that has spread to his bones. Despite his health challenges, he continues to push forward, recently undergoing surgery to remove skin cancer lesions. A noticeable scar above his right eye serves as a visible reminder of the procedure.
According to his spokesperson, Kelly Scully, the surgery was a necessary step to remove a potentially life-threatening malignant lesion and surrounding tissue. The tissue will be tested to determine if the cancer has spread further. Dr. Stuart Fischer, a respected internist, expressed concerns about Biden’s health, citing his multiple medical issues and reports of dementia as factors that could impact his longevity.
“Melanoma is a dangerous and often undetected form of cancer,” Dr. Fischer explained. With Biden’s current health challenges, his future remains uncertain.
Despite the grim prognosis, Biden remains focused on his recovery and continues to work on his memoir. With a dedicated team of aides and Secret Service members by his side, he is determined to fight his battle against cancer with courage and resilience.
