The Philadelphia 76ers suffered another defeat on their home court, with the New York Knicks securing a road win once again. The City of Brotherly Love was filled with chants of “Let’s Go Knicks” as the visitors celebrated their victory. Karl-Anthony Towns led the way for the Knicks, walking off the court with his dad by his side, while Joel Embiid and the Sixers left the floor disappointed.

Embiid made his return to action after missing the first six games of the season due to a knee injury and a subsequent suspension. However, the star center struggled to find his rhythm, shooting just 2-of-11 from the field and scoring 13 points in 26 minutes. Towns, on the other hand, dominated the game with 21 points and 13 rebounds.

The Sixers’ season has been marred by injuries and poor performances, with the team now sitting at a dismal 2-8 record. Despite Embiid’s return, the team continues to struggle, with doubts looming over their ability to turn things around.

Embiid’s history of injuries has been a cause for concern for the Sixers, who have been cautious in managing his playing time to ensure his long-term health. Yabusele, a standout from the French national team, struggled to make an impact in his new role alongside Embiid.

Embiid’s leadership and performance will be crucial in guiding the Sixers through their rough patch and helping them find their rhythm. As the team looks to bounce back from their early-season struggles, all eyes will be on Embiid to lead the way and steer the team in the right direction.
