Joel Kinnaman has officially signed on to join the star-studded cast of the highly anticipated Apple TV+ psychological thriller limited series, “Imperfect Women.” The news, first reported by Variety, reveals that Kinnaman will be sharing the screen with Elisabeth Moss, Kerry Washington, and Kate Mara in this gripping adaptation of Araminta Hall’s novel.
The series promises to be a captivating and unconventional psychological thriller that delves into the dark complexities of a crime that rocks the foundation of a decades-long friendship among three women. Kinnaman is set to portray the character of Robert in the series, marking his second collaboration with Apple TV+. Kinnaman’s impressive resume also includes starring roles in popular TV series like “Altered Carbon,” “House of Cards,” “Hanna,” and “The Killing,” showcasing his versatility as a performer. On the big screen, he has appeared in blockbuster films such as the “Suicide Squad” franchise, the 2014 reboot of “RoboCop,” and the action-packed thriller “Silent Night,” which he also executive produced.

Renowned director Lesli Linka Glatter will helm the pilot episode and executive produce, while Kay Oyegun will contribute as a writer and executive producer as part of her deal with 20th Television.
