John Ramsey, the father of the late JonBenét Ramsey, has recently spoken out about the police’s handling of the investigation into his daughter’s murder. In an exclusive conversation with RadarOnline.com, John revealed how the authorities had painted him and his wife, Patsy, as guilty from the very beginning.

According to John, the police had decided to blame him and Patsy “day one before any evidence” or information had been gathered. He explained that the officers felt that the couple wasn’t acting “right” in the aftermath of JonBenét’s disappearance, leading them to jump to conclusions and target John and Patsy as suspects.

John recounted how the District Attorney later revealed that the police’s case against them was based on the fact that they “didn’t act right that morning” between the time JonBenét went missing and her body was found. He expressed frustration at how investigators had made up their minds so quickly and were determined to arrest him on probable cause.

When asked to elaborate on what he meant by not “acting right,” John provided specific examples of how the police misinterpreted their behavior. He mentioned a detective’s report that criticized him for casually going through the mail while waiting for a phone call from the alleged kidnapper. John clarified that he was actually searching for any additional communications from the kidnapper in the mail pile at their door.

He also recalled a moment when he didn’t react in a certain way at the designated time the kidnapper was supposed to call, leading the police to believe he was behaving strangely. John explained that he was simply unsure if the call was meant for that day or the next, which caused confusion among the investigators.

John expressed his belief that the police were “clueless” and were in over their heads during the investigation. He criticized their failure to accept help when needed and emphasized the lack of leadership within the department. He highlighted the need for a change in mindset within law enforcement to prevent similar failures in the future.

In a recent development, John mentioned that new evidence had been submitted for additional DNA testing in hopes of finally solving JonBenét’s murder. He expressed optimism about the progress and stated that he is more hopeful than he has been in a long time. The identity of JonBenét’s killer has remained a mystery since her tragic death in 1996.

As the investigation continues, John remains determined to seek justice for his daughter and uncover the truth behind her murder. Through his ongoing efforts and the support of the community, he hopes to bring closure to the case and honor JonBenét’s memory.
