On a recent episode of The View, co-host Joy Behar and her colleagues expressed considerable discontent regarding the release of CNN journalist Jake Tapper’s new book, which delves into President Joe Biden’s alleged cognitive decline. This unexpected media scrutiny appears to be provoking Behar’s infamous case of BUT TRUMP.
In a fit of indignation, Behar attempted to list what she labeled as Trump’s ‘atrocities’ and pondered the lack of literary attention directed at those issues.
However, her tirade was more about personal opinion than factual accuracy—an unfortunate pattern that seems to be a hallmark of her commentary.
FOX News provides the details:
During Tuesday’s discussion, co-hosts of The View reacted strongly to the publication of Tapper and Axios’ Alex Thompson’s book titled “Original Sin: President Biden’s Decline, Its Cover-Up, and His Disastrous Choice to Run Again.” The conversation quickly turned into a critique of the media’s focus on Biden’s issues, rather than a genuine exploration of the book’s claims.
Whoopi Goldberg, Behar, and Sunny Hostin directed most of their commentary towards former President Donald Trump, questioning the relevance of investigating Biden’s health at a time they perceived as rife with Trump’s past misdeeds.
Behar remarked, “All he is doing is hawking his book on CNN, and he’s flanked by other people—Brian Stelter and Van Jones—also promoting it. When did CNN become a platform for book promotions? Is Wolf Blitzer releasing a cookbook next?”
It seems that questioning the Democratic party is tantamount to a faux pas for the women of The View. Apparently, the only permissible target remains Trump. Quite the circus, isn’t it?
Whoopi decries the American people learning Democrats lied to them about Biden’s health:
“Why is this important to know now?!”
