The Shocking Case of Cyrill Willemin: Massage Therapist Accused of Sexual Assault
Recently, a disturbing case of sexual assault has come to light in the heart of Chicago’s Loop. Cyrill Willemin, the sole employee of a sports massage office, has been accused of sexually assaulting multiple women who sought treatment at Chicago Sport Massage over the past few years.
Judge Shauna Boliker expressed her shock at the allegations, stating that Willemin’s actions were a “brazen, horrific violation” of his victims’ trust.
All the accusations against Willemin stem from incidents that occurred at Chicago Sport Massage, located at 77 West Washington. The first report of abuse dates back more than nine years, when a woman alleged that Willemin touched her inappropriately during a massage session in February 2016.
According to the police report, Willemin allegedly exposed the woman’s breasts and private area without consent, leading her to file a complaint with the authorities.
Another woman came forward in July 2022, claiming that Willemin had touched her inappropriately during a massage, making her feel uncomfortable and violated.
The most recent victim reported an incident in December 2024, where Willemin allegedly sexually assaulted her during a massage session. The victim described how Willemin touched her intimate areas without consent and made inappropriate comments during the session.
Following these allegations, Willemin was arrested by Chicago police officers outside his South Loop apartment building. He now faces multiple charges of criminal sexual abuse and assault.
Despite the accusations, a search of registered business entities with the Illinois Secretary of State did not yield any results for “Chicago Sport Massage,” raising questions about the legitimacy of the establishment.
This shocking case serves as a stark reminder of the importance of ensuring the safety and well-being of individuals seeking professional services. It also highlights the need for stricter regulations and oversight in the massage therapy industry to prevent such incidents from occurring in the future.
