Former President Trump has declared a legal victory in his lawsuit against 60 Minutes, CBS, and Paramount, resulting in a $16 million settlement.
“Much like the case with ABC and George Slopadopoulos, CBS and its corporate masters recognized the deception they perpetuated against the American public and were eager to reach a settlement,” Trump asserted.
“We also expect to secure an additional $20 million from the new owners in advertising, public service announcements, or similar programming, bringing the total to over $36 million.”
Trump didn’t hold back when criticizing “The Wall Street Journal, The Failing New York Times, The Washington Post, MSDNC, CNN, and all other Mainstream Media Liars,” warning them that the era of misinformation is coming to an end.

Much like ABC and George Slopadopoulos, CBS and its corporate owners knew they had defrauded the American people, leading to their urgency in settling. Paramount/CBS/60 Minutes have today agreed to pay $16 million in settlement, and we anticipate receiving an additional $20 million from the new owners in advertising, PSAs, or related programming—totalling over $36 million. This is yet another victory in our ongoing battle against the Fake News Media, which we are holding accountable for widespread fraud and deceit. Trump’s lawsuit sought a staggering $10 billion in damages, claiming that CBS had maliciously edited a critical interview with Kamala Harris on “60 Minutes” last year. The lawsuit detailed the substantial harm inflicted upon him, his campaign, and millions of citizens across Texas and the nation due to CBS’s misleading broadcasting practices.
CBS reportedly edited out Harris’s original response and replaced it with a different answer during the contentious 2024 election cycle.

As reported by , Trump also initiated legal action against Dow Jones, News Corp, Rupert Murdoch, and two Wall Street Journal reporters following a controversial piece concerning Jeffrey Epstein published by the Wall Street Journal.
“We have just filed a POWERHOUSE Lawsuit against everyone involved in publishing the false, malicious, defamatory, FAKE NEWS ‘article’ in the pathetic ‘rag’ known as The Wall Street Journal,” Trump stated, adding that he intends to sue Rupert Murdoch’s “ass off.”
