Justin Timberlake Cancels Concert in Ohio Due to Flu
Published on | Updated on
Justin Timberlake is not bringing “SexyBack” tonight as he’s battling a severe case of the flu, forcing him to cancel his scheduled performance in Columbus, Ohio.
The singer-songwriter expressed his disappointment in an Instagram post, explaining that he was unable to even complete soundcheck due to his illness.
Timberlake expressed his regret for letting down his fans and the team that worked tirelessly to organize the show. He assured ticket holders that they will receive refunds for their purchases.
While many fans have shown support for Timberlake during his illness, some have expressed frustration over the last-minute cancellation, especially considering this is the second time he has had to cancel a show in Ohio due to health issues.
In November, Timberlake had to cancel a series of shows due to bronchitis and laryngitis, one of which was also in Columbus, Ohio.

It remains unclear when Timberlake contracted the flu, but his decision to cancel the show indicates that he was not in a condition to perform. Requests for further clarification on the cancellation have not been answered at this time.
Despite Timberlake’s famous lyrics about leaving it all on the stage, it seems even Versace couldn’t persuade him to perform while battling the flu.
