The merchandise website linked to FBI director Kash Patel was taken down on Friday following reports of a hacking incident aimed at spreading malware to visitors, according to Straight Arrow News.
Currently, the Based Apparel website remains offline. On Thursday, an X user named Debbie reported that the site was compromised with malware, specifically an infostealer, which is designed to capture and steal users’ credentials and passwords. A security researcher subsequently analyzed the malware.Â
Attempts to contact Brand Apparel for comment were unsuccessful. JS reached out via a Gmail address linked to Patel but has not received a response. Â
