Kate Hudson found herself uncertain about her attire for the 2026 Oscars until the morning of the event. “I didn’t want to risk feeling uncomfortable on such an important day,” she stated to Vogue before stepping onto the red carpet. “It was crucial to me that I avoid any anxiety over my dress.”
To ease her worries, Hudson, who was in the running for Best Actress for her role in Song Sung Blue, sought out a reliable brand. “I wanted to collaborate with people I have a relationship with and who I know will come through, and Armani excels in that regard,” she explained. “Their craftsmanship is exceptional, and they give me options.”

Hudson ultimately chose a stunning jade green gown adorned with jewels, featuring a sweetheart neckline and peplum from Armani Privé’s Spring 2026 collection. To complement the minty shade, she accessorized with Garatti jewelry, including a diamond necklace with over 41 carats of green diamonds.
Despite making her final decision on the day of the Oscars, Hudson had specific preferences: “I wanted a beautiful silhouette for the carpet, something that made me feel supported, elegant, bright, and colorful,” she mentioned. Essentially, “I want to feel like I’m breathing in.”
