An insider has disclosed that Kidman’s husband, Keith Urban, 57, is less than thrilled about the prospect of her reuniting with McGregor on-screen due to his “insecurities.”

The source revealed that Urban is feeling uneasy, especially considering past reports suggesting Kidman’s undeniable chemistry with McGregor played a role in her split from Tom Cruise.

“Moulin director Baz Luhrmann’s phone has been ringing off the hook with studios eager to discuss that Moulin Rouge! sequel he mentioned two years ago,” the insider shared.

However, the project seems to be stalled due to Kidman, as Urban is hesitant about her working closely with McGregor again. He is torn between not wanting to spoil the fun for Luhrmann and the countless fans of the original film.

“While Keith has always been cautious about Nicole working with Ewan again, he finds himself caught in a whirlwind of emotions. He wants to support Baz and the fans, but he also wants to protect his relationship with Nicole,” the insider added.
