NBC has given the green light to a new talk series called “Songs & Stories With Kelly Clarkson.” The show will feature the popular singer interviewing a lineup of talented musicians including Teddy Swims, Lizzo, the Jonas Brothers, and Gloria Estefan.
This four-night event is inspired by a segment from “The Kelly Clarkson Show,” the singer’s daytime talk show that airs on various NBC stations. In previous episodes of “Songs & Stories,” Clarkson has interviewed artists such as R&B singer Babyface, country star Miranda Lambert, rock icon Alanis Morissette, and pop sensation Pink.
The official description of the NBC series states, “The conversations are a front-row pass for Kelly Clarkson to engage with some of her favorite celebrities and explore both their music and personal lives. The specials provide a platform for iconic voices to share heartfelt storytelling through unfiltered conversation and intimate, unplugged performances.”
Fans can tune in to “Songs & Stories With Kelly Clarkson” on August 19, August 26, September 2, and September 9 at 10 p.m. The series is produced by Universal Television, with executive producers Alex Duda, Kareen Gunning, and Kelly Clarkson herself.
