Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Kevin Hart came together for Hart’s Netflix roast, where Johnson, Hart’s “Jumanji” co-star, delivered a long, R-rated performance focusing mainly on Hart’s wife, Eniko.
Johnson made a grand entrance, complete with special effects and Queen’s “We Will Rock You” playing. Without delay, he began his comedic routine. “Now, I know what you’re all assuming is that I’m here to carry another lousy Kevin Hart project, but for once, that’s not the case,” he quipped. “I’m actually here tonight because someone needs to chew up Kevin’s food and spit it in his mouth. Isn’t that right? My little chocolate baby bird.”
Johnson humorously referred to Hart as his “little Burnt Oompa-Loompa” before turning his attention to Hart’s wife, Eniko. “I want to take a moment to acknowledge all the ladies up here on this dais. You all look beautiful, magnificent, sexy. You know who else looks sexy? Kevin’s wife, Eniko.”
As Hart reacted with disbelief, saying, “What the fuck,” Johnson responded, “I’m just giving her compliments!”
Johnson continued, suggesting Eniko “deserves an Academy Award for pretending she likes to be with you,” and proposed they get together to “open up a bottle of tequila and, you know… Stop squirming, Kevin!” He further jested that he understood why women love Hart — because “he’s the same size and color as their favorite dildo, and the little guy is twice as loud.”
Chelsea Handler joined in, questioning, “Don’t you think it’s time for Eniko to be with somebody bigger than her?”
“I love you. Yes, I do,” Johnson told Hart as he concluded his roast. “Just to prove it, just last week, I got a Kevin Hart tattoo on my cock. Yeah, life size too… Eniko, I’ll show you later. Kidding. She’s already seen it!”
Hart retorted, “Why would you say that about my fucking wife? I want to talk to you later.”
“But you’re the one who said, ‘Hey, listen, fucking say anything you want!’” Johnson replied.
Johnson and Hart have shared the screen in several films, including “Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle,” “Jumanji: The Next Level,” and “Central Intelligence.” They are set to team up again for the third and final “Jumanji” movie, “Jumanji: Open World,” this Christmas.
Other notable guests at Hart’s roast included Venus and Serena Williams, Lizzo, and Tom Brady, alongside a lineup of comedians and actors such as Tony Hinchliffe, Pete Davidson, Draymond Green, Tiffany Haddish, Sheryl Underwood, Regina Hall, and Na’im Lynn.
The event, hosted by Shane Gillis, was recorded live at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles. The roast occurred at 5 p.m. PT on Sunday, marking the final evening of the Netflix Is a Joke Fest.
