Khloé Kardashian’s Stance on Kids and Social Media
Khloé Kardashian, a well-known figure from the hit reality show Keeping Up With the Kardashians, has made it clear that she is taking a strict approach when it comes to her kids and social media. One significant way she has managed to keep her children off social media is by not allowing them to have smartphones. This is a rule that will be upheld for her daughter, True, until at least 2030.
True’s upcoming birthday, known as her golden birthday, falls on April 12th. Khloé has decided that they will discuss the possibility of True getting a phone on her 12th birthday. However, she emphasizes that this does not automatically mean that True will have access to social media. Khloé firmly believes that kids should not have social media accounts until they are older, ideally around 16 or 17 years old. The discussion about getting a phone will be a separate matter from social media access.
This approach taken by Khloé stands in contrast to her sister, Kim Kardashian, who has allowed her daughter, North, to have a significant presence on TikTok. North has amassed an impressive 21 million followers on the platform, where she shares multiple videos per day. The content of North’s account includes colorful wigs, skin piercings, fake grills, and various filters.
While North’s TikTok account is managed by an adult, Khloé remains adamant about delaying her own daughter’s exposure to social media. By setting strict boundaries and guidelines, Khloé is prioritizing her children’s well-being and ensuring that they have a healthy relationship with technology as they grow up.
