Kim Kardashian Reveals Toxic Friendship with ChatGPT

In a recent interview with Vanity Fair, Kim Kardashian opened up about her tumultuous relationship with ChatGPT, an AI technology she has been using for legal advice in her pursuit of becoming a lawyer. Kardashian admitted that relying on ChatGPT has led to her failing law exams due to receiving false information.

Despite her frustrations, Kardashian confessed, “I use [ChatGPT] for legal advice, so when I am needing to know the answer to a question, I will take a picture and snap it and put it in there. They’re always wrong. It has made me fail tests… And then I’ll get mad and I’ll yell at it and be like, ‘You made me fail!’”

One of the major issues with ChatGPT is its tendency to hallucinate, providing incorrect answers rather than admitting uncertainty. This AI technology is trained on vast amounts of data to predict responses, which may not always be accurate. Some lawyers have faced repercussions for using ChatGPT in legal briefs, as it can lead to citing nonexistent cases.

Despite her struggles, Kardashian tries to appeal to ChatGPT emotionally, even though the AI lacks feelings. “I will talk to it and say, ‘Hey, you’re going to make me fail, how does that make you feel that you need to really know these answers?’” she shared. “And then it’ll say back to me, ‘This is just teaching you to trust your own instincts.’”

While ChatGPT may not have emotions, the impact it has on human emotions is evident. Kardashian revealed, “I screenshot all the time and send it to my group chat, like, ‘Can you believe this b—- is talking to me like this?’”
