Summer Style with a Romantic Twist at Kith
As summer approaches, Kith’s Ronnie Fieg is embracing a softer and more romantic aesthetic with the latest collection. The opening look sets the tone with a light overshirt adorned with tiny studs, a cutout slit at the hip, and playful tassel details. While it may look like suede, the fabric is actually a luxurious linen cupro blend that feels amazing against the skin. Delicate floral embroideries adorn cotton button-downs, the signature paisley print is reimagined in pastel hues, and crochet details reign supreme, especially in a navy-and-white football jersey-inspired sweater that exudes post-beach vibes.
Each piece in the collection exudes a natural, worn-in feel, from sun-bleached white denim overshirts to a barely-there pink washed denim jacket. An embroidered chambray pullover channels Martha Stewart’s effortless style, while washed satin pullover shirts featuring old floral and decorative tapestry prints add a touch of sophistication. The collection also features a nod to sportswear with ’90s-inspired colorblocked tracksuits, mesh jerseys, and Kith Cigarette-branded pieces created in collaboration with Cigarette Racing, paying homage to the classic Miami racing boats.
Fieg’s love for fabrics and textures shines through in the summer collection, typically a highlight of his fall and winter offerings. Groovy tropical wool and double crepe suiting add a touch of sophistication to the lineup. “I’m approaching 43 and this is how I dress for summer,” Fieg shared during a walkthrough at the brand’s temporary store on Broadway. “We’ve helped our customers transition into more tailored dressing, and it’s been a fun journey.”
