Krave It: A Love Story Mixed with Pizza Coming to Denver
Vishee and Jenna Mandahar’s journey started in seventh grade when they bonded over their love for pizza and sandwiches in New York. They opened the first Krave It in Queens in 2015 and now have six locations in the city. In May, they will debut their menu across the street from Coors Field in Denver.
Known for their unique pizza and sandwich creations like the fried Oreo pizza, Krave It is set to bring a whole new culinary experience to Denver. The restaurant, located at 2210 Blake St., will be operated by franchisee Harry Ghotra, a Queens native who moved to Denver eight years ago.
Ghotra also plans to open a location in Aurora, with another Krave It in the works in Longmont under different ownership. The Denver location will be the largest Krave It to date and will feature a bar, unlike the New York stores that mainly offer takeout.
Vishee Mandahar mentioned that the white truffle chicken pizza and the Godmother sandwich are customer favorites in New York. The goal for the Denver location is to create a welcoming atmosphere where customers can enjoy delicious food before and after games or on non-game days.
