Matthieu Blazy’s debut with Chanel is generating plenty of buzz, but Kristen Stewart isn’t in a hurry to don any of his latest runway designs.
Earlier this week in Paris while filming Full Phil, Stewart showcased a relaxed style in a loose white shirt and breezy trousers, accented by a red belt to complement her red velvet blazer. However, she took a more sophisticated approach during her visit to London for the screening of her directorial debut, The Chronology of Water—an adaptation of Lidia Yuknavitch’s memoir—at the prestigious 2025 BFI London Film Festival.

Stewart, who has been a Chanel ambassador since 2013, partnered with her longtime stylist, Tara Swennen, to select a look from Virginie Viard’s collection for her BFI appearance. She chose a chic, white shift dress with black trim around the hem, pockets, and neckline from the 2023 collection.
To personalize the classic minidress, Stewart infused her signature attitude with accessories. While her black pointed-toe slingbacks maintained a classic touch, she amplified the ensemble with various silver jewelry, including a layered chain necklace featuring a lock pendant and rings adorning both hands. This, combined with her choppy bangs and effortless waves, lent the entire outfit a more casual vibe. Though that might not be the first thing that comes to mind when thinking of Chanel, it epitomizes the essence of Kristen Stewart.
