Lainey Wilson, Jason Aldean, and Bailey Zimmerman have been confirmed as the leading acts for CBS’ annual event, “New Year’s Eve Live: Nashville’s Big Bash,” which will be aired over a five-and-a-half-hour span from the end of 2025 into the start of 2026.
The broadcast will take place in the eastern and Pacific time zones on CBS, starting at 8 p.m. on December 31 and concluding at 1:30 a.m. on January 1, featuring a break for local news from 10 to 10:30 p.m. Additionally, it will be available for live streaming for Paramount+ Premium subscribers.
Joining the lineup of performers announced earlier this week is gospel musician CeCe Winans, who will perform with the renowned Fisk Jubilee Singers from Tennessee. More artists are expected to be revealed in the coming weeks.
The live event will be hosted on a public stage located at Nashville’s Bicentennial Capitol Mall State Park.
For streaming options, Paramount+ Premium subscribers can view the special live via the feed from their local CBS affiliate or watch it on-demand. However, Paramount+ Essential subscribers will not have access to the live stream but can catch the show on-demand the following day.
Returning as executive producers are Robert Deaton, the veteran producer of the CMA Awards, and Mary Hilliard Harrington, a prominent Nashville artist manager, collaborating with Music City Inc., an affiliate of the Nashville Convention & Visitors Corp. Sandra Restrepo will take the director’s seat.
Among the headliners, Lainey Wilson is thriving in both music and television. Just last week, she was announced as the exclusive host for the upcoming CMA Awards in November, having previously co-hosted alongside Luke Bryan and Peyton Manning. She also holds the distinction of having the most nominations for this year’s CMAs, with six nods, including a chance for entertainer of the year.
