One individual who is fully on board with House Speaker Mike Johnson‘s suggestion to replace Bad Bunny with Lee Greenwood for the Super Bowl is none other than the country singer himself!
Lee tells TMZ he completely agrees with Speaker Johnson’s statement from yesterday, declaring he’d absolutely nail the Super Bowl performance, given his extensive experience singing at NFL events, particularly during Salute to Service games.
At 82 years old, the singer is such a sought-after performer that he’s scheduled to entertain during halftime for the Dallas Cowboys on Monday Night Football on November 3rd. He shares that singing the anthem or “God Bless the U.S.A.” at games is an exhilarating experience.
Even with Bad Bunny already confirmed for the halftime show, Lee suggests that perhaps the NFL could still include him to energize fans before the game!

Lee’s enthusiasm stems solely from his love for music and football, and his representative emphasizes that he has no issue with Bad Bunny. What truly saddens him is witnessing the division in the country over this debate.
In general, Lee despises the hostility people exhibit toward one another over political disagreements. He’s only in it for the music and memorable football moments!
