The Ferrari driver, who welcomed Roscoe into his life in 2013, extended his gratitude to followers for the affection and support they’ve shown towards his four-legged companion throughout the years.
In a poignant moment, he remarked that Roscoe has now reunited with Coco, his bulldog sibling who passed away in June 2020.

The 40-year-old F1 driver disclosed last week that Roscoe had battled pneumonia and struggled to breathe, leading to his placement in a coma. Hamilton had held on to hope that medical intervention would awaken him.
“After four days on life support, fighting with every bit of strength he had, I had to make the most difficult decision of my life and say goodbye to Roscoe,” Hamilton reflected on social media. “He never ceased fighting, right until the very end. I am immensely grateful and honored to have shared my life with such an extraordinary soul—an angel and true friend.”
“Bringing Roscoe into my life was the best decision I’ve ever made. I will forever cherish the wonderful memories we made together,” he continued. “Though I lost Coco, I have never faced the heart-wrenching choice of having to put a dog to sleep before, though I know many have. It is an excruciating experience, and I feel a profound connection with everyone who has endured the loss of a dear pet.”
“Despite the challenges, having him in my life was one of life’s most beautiful experiences, to love so deeply and to receive love in return.”
Roscoe was no mere canine sidekick—he had amassed over a million followers on social media and even featured in the latest “F1” film.
Sympathy and condolences have poured in from Hamilton’s friends, teammates, and even rival teams, all acknowledging the profound loss of a beloved pet.
