Prince William recently shared his heartfelt thoughts during an interview with actor Eugene Levy, stating that 2024 has been “the hardest year I’ve ever had,” as reported by RadarOnline.com.

Reflecting on the challenging events of the past year, William, aged 43, remarked, “Life is sent to test us.” This statement underscores the personal trials he has faced recently.

William and Levy recently collaborated for an episode of the AppleTV+ travel series The Reluctant Traveler, which featured a visit to Windsor Castle by the iconic Schitt’s Creek star. The future king demonstrated his wit during the tour, joking to Levy, “We provide this service for everyone. We do personalized tours everywhere.”

Following the tour, the pair shared a pint at a local pub, where their conversation took a serious turn as William opened up about the numerous challenges that his family faced over the past year.

The prince revealed, “I’d say 2024 was the hardest year I’ve ever had. You know, life is sent to test us, as well. And being able to overcome that is what makes us who we are.”

Indeed, the past year has put William to the test. His wife, Kate Middleton, raised health concerns when she took a stepping back from royal duties. Following weeks of rumors, Middleton announced in March 2024 that she had been diagnosed with cancer after an abdominal surgery earlier that January.

Despite the announcement, rumors about their relationship continued to circulate as Middleton fought through cancer treatment. Additionally, William’s father, King Charles III, was also diagnosed with an undisclosed type of cancer in February 2024. This situation compelled his estranged brother,Prince Harry, to make a brief trip to London for a meeting with their father.

Meanwhile, William maintained ongoing tensions with Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, with insiders suggesting he intended to strip their royal titles once he ascends to the throne in the future.

Describing 2024 as “brutal,” William noted the emotional toll of watching both his wife and father grapple with cancer. His frustrations have reportedly persisted into the current year, leading sources to claim he is “disgusted” with Harry for reportedly influencing their father amidst this challenging time.

Insiders revealed William’s deep concern over Harry’s attempt to reconnect with Charles. “It sickens William that Harry has wormed his way back into his father’s affections. To him, it’s just wrong on every level – and utterly ridiculous,” the source stated.
