In a fervent response to Pope Francis’s criticism of U.S. immigration policies, Border Czar Tom Homan, a lifelong Catholic, delivered a pointed rebuttal during a recent interview on Newsmax.
Pope Francis, who has been vocal about his stance against the deportation of illegal immigrants and the enforcement of strict border controls, was blasted by Homan for his hypocritical and dangerous stance on open borders.
The current radical Pope is anti-borders, who previously urged Western countries to open their doors to unlimited immigration, lectured President Trump on his plans to deport illegal aliens who entered the US unlawfully.
Red Francis was asked about Trump’s plans to deport illegals in the US and replied, “If this is true, it is a disgrace.” He added, “This won’t do. That is not the way to solve things.”
Pope Francis earlier condemned those who “repel” migrants and called this a “grave sin.”
The US was flooded with over ten million illegals, most of them unvetted, during the Biden years. This was not enough for the communist pope.
During a Newsmax interview with Rob Schmitt, Homan, a lifelong Catholic, didn’t hold back his criticism of Pope Francis.
Homan highlighted the irony of the Vatican’s fortified walls and strict security measures, questioning why similar measures to protect American borders are met with such disdain from the religious leader.

I want to ask one final question. The Pope this week said that it’s a disgrace what we’re now doing with this new government deporting all of these people. Obviously, there’s going to be a lot of media searching for the sad stories here, trying to turn public opinion against this operation. What’s your message to the American people as you guys do this work?Tom Homan:
Well, let me give a message to the Pope. I’m a lifelong Catholic. I was born Catholic. I’ve been through Catholic doctrine. Look, he should concentrate on fixing the Catholic Church, first of all. He’s got big problems there.In the Vatican, they have a wall around the Vatican. If you’re going to enter the Vatican, the crime is serious. You’ll be charged with a serious crime and jailed. So he can protect the Vatican where he lives. He can build a wall where he lives.
Would the American people not allow that? No.
Securing the border saves lives. He needs to understand that when we secure the border, fewer people come, fewer women get raped by the cartel, fewer children die in the river, and fewer Americans die from fentanyl overdoses. He ought to stick to the Catholic Church and fix the mess there.
