3:15 PM PT — Brian Branch is reportedly appealing the suspension.
Brian Branch has been handed a suspension for initiating a chaotic brawl after the Chiefs vs. Lions game on Sunday night.
The league announced Monday that the Detroit star would miss one game without pay, describing his behavior as “aggressive” and “completely unwarranted.”
Branch exhibited loser energy. All players usually shake hands after games.

It remains uncertain whether Branch intends to appeal, but the NFL has indicated that option is available for the 23-year-old.
As reported, Branch sparked the altercation mere moments after Detroit’s loss to the Chiefs, which ended 30-17 at Arrowhead Stadium.
The safety struck JuJu Smith-Schuster after becoming frustrated over an earlier block.
The two were seen grappling on the field for several moments before teammates intervened.
As it stands, Branch is set to miss the upcoming “Monday Night Football” game against the Buccaneers.
