The Littleton Police Department Seeks Justice for Missing Woman
The Littleton Police Department is reaching out to the public for assistance in solving the case of Charlene Voight, a 36-year-old woman who went missing and is believed to have been murdered nine years ago.
According to a news release, Voight disappeared in July 2016. The investigation led to her boyfriend, 46-year-old Jeffrey Scott Beier, being identified as a suspect. In 2019, an Arapahoe County grand jury indicted Beier for Voight’s murder, along with other charges. However, Voight’s remains have never been found.
Following Voight’s disappearance, Beier fled to Russia. In 2020, he was arrested in Russia for unrelated charges but was later released. Littleton police are currently working to have Beier extradited back to Colorado, so no court dates have been set yet.
The news release stated, “LPD is asking for the public’s help in obtaining any information related to the disappearance and suspected murder of Charlene Voight. If you have any information, regardless of how small, that could help bring justice to Charlene and closure to her family, please contact LPD Detective Christina Goodman at 303-795-3896 or Denver Metro Crime Stoppers at 720-913-7867.”
Denver Metro Crime Stoppers is offering a $2,000 reward for any information provided, and tipsters can choose to remain anonymous.
