Brian “Liver King” Johnson, the disgraced influencer known for his outrageous claims about his diet and physique, recently had charges dropped for allegedly making terroristic threats against Joe Rogan. Despite the legal drama, Johnson is back on social media taunting Rogan and challenging him to a fight.
The 48-year-old YouTuber was arrested in June after traveling to Rogan’s hometown of Austin, Texas, and posting videos online about wanting to fight the black-belt podcaster while brandishing what appeared to be two guns. He was charged with misdemeanor terrorist threats and released on a $20,000 bond with an ankle monitor. However, his charges were quietly dropped on November 12 after completing counseling classes.
In a recent video aimed at Rogan, Johnson defiantly stated, “They weren’t threats. A challenge. A fight. Come on, drama king. Still challenging Joe Rogan to a fight. You can’t run forever, you’re eventually going to have to say something.” This echoes his initial video where he called out Rogan and challenged him to a fight despite having no training in jiu-jitsu.
It remains unclear why Johnson targeted Rogan in the first place. Although he has never been a guest on “The Joe Rogan Experience,” he has been mentioned on the show in discussions about performance-enhancing drugs. Johnson, who previously claimed his muscular physique was due to a diet of raw meat, animal testicles, liver, and fertilized chicken eggs, later admitted in 2022 that he had used steroids to achieve his physique.
Despite the legal troubles and public backlash, Johnson seems determined to continue his online antics and challenge Rogan to a fight. It remains to be seen how Rogan will respond to the provocations from the self-proclaimed “Liver King.”
