Liz Cambage has a clear message for WNBA athletes — if they’re looking to generate real income, they must seek opportunities beyond their salaries … because she surely didn’t fund her lavish lifestyle with just game checks!
The former Sparks player shifted to OnlyFans after her time in the W … and quickly found herself earning more on the platform than she ever did on the court.
She reportedly raked in over a million dollars incredibly fast. Keep in mind, the highest pay in the WNBA is just above $200K — a significant factor in why she turned to OF … and she advises fellow players to explore other income opportunities alongside their main jobs.
“Women need to earn more while playing the sport they cherish,” Cambage stated at LAX.
“Everyone has to hustle however they can … as I stand here wrapped in a mink.”
She also shared insights for WNBA athletes troubled by their inadequate salaries.
“Simply be true to yourself. Embrace who you are,” Cambage remarked. “In the past, there wasn’t room for women to be authentic, but I believe we’re seeing a shift where women can express their femininity and sexuality, and it’s liberating.”
The discussions around WNBA salaries have intensified this season, with stars like Caitlin Clark grabbing headlines by sporting “Pay Us What You Owe Us” warm-up gear.
If players don’t achieve what they seek in their upcoming CBA … they may very well heed Cambage’s advice.
