Gwyneth Paltrow Feels Isolated in Her Love for Christmas
The holiday season is a time for joy, celebration, and family traditions. However, for Gwyneth Paltrow, the festive spirit seems to be lacking in her own home due to a stark contrast in attitudes towards Christmas with her husband, Brad Falchuk.
Despite their deeply connected family life, Paltrow finds herself feeling isolated in her love for Christmas. The actress, who shares two children, Apple, 21, and Moses, 19, with ex-husband Chris Martin, opened up about her holiday struggles, stating, “I feel very alone in my house in my love for Christmas, although all the kids love it, so they’re on my side.”
While Paltrow embraces the holiday season with enthusiasm, her husband Falchuk takes on the role of the Grinch. She revealed, “My husband is a little bit of a Grinch. He’s the opposite. But I love the decorations, I love the Frank Sinatra Christmas album. I really get into the holiday spirit.”
Despite Falchuk’s aversion to traditional holiday fare, Paltrow remains committed to her culinary customs. “I love decorating, and we have a traditional menu that we do every year,” she shared. “I always make Martha Stewart’s recipe for a perfect roast turkey, and we have our stuffing recipe and our sweet potatoes and all the things.”
While their differing views on Christmas may create some tension in their household, Paltrow remains dedicated to upholding her festive traditions and spreading holiday cheer. With her love for Christmas undiminished, she continues to make the most of the holiday season, even if she feels a bit alone in her enthusiasm.
