Long Island Man Accused of Raping Two 11-Year-Old Boys He Met on Snapchat
An 18-year-old Long Island man, Bradley Schioppa, is facing charges for allegedly raping two 11-year-old boys he met on Snapchat. Prosecutors revealed that Schioppa, using the username “paxonhotsg5,” joined a Snapchat group chat for 11-year-old boys in the Smithtown area in April.
The boys initially thought Schioppa was their age and didn’t question his involvement in the chat. It wasn’t until Schioppa started meeting the boys in person at various locations that they realized he was older. He allegedly drove them around, bought them snacks, and played games with them.
During these encounters, Schioppa allegedly sexually abused one boy in a park bathroom and the other in a CVS restroom, framing the abuse as a prank or dare that they would be paid for.

Authorities were alerted to the situation when one of the boys’ mothers discovered messages between Schioppa and her son. Following an investigation, Schioppa was arrested on May 21 and charged with first-degree rape, second-degree sexual abuse, and endangering the welfare of a child.
If convicted on the top count, Schioppa could face up to 25 years in prison. District Attorney Raymond A. Tierney emphasized the seriousness of the charges and vowed to pursue the case diligently to deliver justice for the victims.
Investigators are now working to determine if there are any additional victims. Anyone with information related to Schioppa or his Snapchat account “paxonhotsg5” is urged to contact the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office or the Suffolk County Police Department Special Victims Section.
