Lori Loughlin was seen enjoying dinner with James Tupper just a day prior to the announcement of her marital separation from Mossimo Giannulli.
According to images obtained by TMZ, the duoâwho previously collaborated on Great American Familyâs Blessings of Christmas and Fall Into Winterâdined at The Bird Streets Club in West Hollywood on Wednesday, October 1.
For the outing, Loughlin, aged 61, opted for denim and a chic black blazer, complemented by a stylish black handbag. Meanwhile, Tupper, who is 60, chose a business casual look, pairing jeans with a blazer over a white button-up shirt.
After their cars were brought by valet, the two shared an embrace before heading down Sunset Boulevard.
âLori and James have collaborated in the past and share a long friendship,â a representative for Loughlin revealed to Us Weekly. Us also reached out to Tupperâs representative for further insights.
This friendly outing occurred just a day before reports surfaced about Loughlin and Giannulli, who is 62, having separated after nearly three decades of marriage.
âThey are currently living apart,â Loughlinâs representative stated in a press release on Thursday, October 2, adding, âThere are no legal actions in progress.â
Loughlin and Giannulliâwho eloped in November 1997 right before Thanksgivingâare parents to two daughters, Isabella Rose, 27, and Olivia Jade, 26.

The estranged couple had previously navigated the 2019 college admissions scandal along with their respective prison terms prior to their separation.
âEvery day presents new challenges. But as that song goes, âI get knocked down, but I get up again,ââ Loughlin expressed in an interview with FIRST for Women in April 2024. âLife was never promised to be easy; we all stumble, but whatâs essential is to keep moving forward.â
In that rare discussion, the Full House star emphasized her commitment to her family and children.
When asked to describe herself now, Loughlin identified as âkindâ and âstrong.â
âIâm open to life and experiences,â she continued. âIâm thankful, strong, open, and kind.â
Tupper has also faced his share of triumphs and tribulations in the spotlight.
Despite his successful career in Hollywood, highlighted by roles in Big Little Lies, Revenge, and more, he has dealt with profound loss.
Tupper maintained a long-term relationship with Anne Heche from 2007 until 2018. The Donnie Brasco starâwho shares a son, Atlas, 16, with Tupperâpassed away in August 2022 due to a car accident in Mar Vista, Los Angeles.
In the wake of Heche’s passing, Tupper has committed himself to being the best father he can be.
âI cherish being a dad; itâs my top priority,â he shared with Us at The Hollywood Christmas Parade in December 2024. âSeeing my son grow and thrive fills me with pride.â
Atlas has reciprocated his fatherâs affection, stating, âHe goes above and beyond. Heâs truly my everything… I love him very much.â
