Lorraine Bracco Shares Why She’s Counting Her Blessings at Age 70
At 70 years old, Lorraine Bracco has had her fair share of ups and downs in life. The actress, known for her roles in hit TV series like The Sopranos and movies like Goodfellas, recently opened up about her journey, revealing why she’s choosing to focus on the positive aspects of her life.
Bracco candidly admitted, “I’ve been through a lot of things in my life.” Despite facing challenges, she remains optimistic, firmly believing that everything will always work out in the end.
Most recently, Bracco starred in the comedy film Nonnas alongside Vince Vaughn and Susan Sarandon. But beyond her successful career, Bracco’s biggest achievement is her role as a mother to her two adult daughters, Stella and Margaux.
Reflecting on her career and her experience as a single mom, Bracco emphasized, “I love my work, but for me, the true measure of my success is my family – my daughters, my grandchildren.”
Being a single mom was no easy feat for Bracco. She dedicated herself to providing for her daughters, ensuring they had a roof over their heads, clothes on their backs, food on the table, and a good education. Bracco acknowledges that the responsibility of raising her children alone made her a stronger and more resilient person.
She shared, “We have to keep reminding ourselves of the things we are grateful for – and it all balances everything out.” Bracco’s positive outlook on life and her ability to find gratitude in the midst of challenges serve as an inspiration to many.
